Šaukļu dabas taka ir īpaša ar tās unikālo, tundrai līdzīgo ainavu, kas ir neierasta Lietuvai. Uz takas ir skatu tornis apkārtnes ainavas, floras un faunas vērošanai. Šaukļu laukakmeņi ir vieni no lielākajiem Lietuvā un ietilpst Šaukļu ainavas liegumā. Šī teritorija aizņem 79ha lielu platību un izveidojās pēdējā leduslaikmeta periodā. Tā pazīstama arī kā Lietuvas tundra, kurā diezgan vienmērīgi izvietoti akmeņi ar diametru 0,3-1m vai pat 3m un dažāda veida kadiķi, kas sniedzas līdz pat 6m garumā. Daļa teritorijas ir nožogota, jo šeit ganās arī muflonu bars, kas tiek turēts teritorijas apsaimniekošanas nolūkā. Cilvēkiem ratiņkrēslos pirms apmeklējuma ieteicams sazināties ar takas apsaimniekotāju, lai nodrošinātu iekļūšanu teritorijā nožogojuma dēļ.

The boulder of Šaukliai is distinguished by the unique tundra-like landscape, unusual in Lithuania. A pedestrian nature path with an observation tower and information pointers introduces the unique flora and fauna of this area. The boulder of Šaukliai is one of the largest boulders in Lithuania and it is in the Šaukliai Landscape Reserve. It is a natural area of 79 ha formed in the last glacial period. It is also known as the Lithuanian tundra, in which, in its primeval position, the rocks of 0.3-1 m or even 3 m in diameter are fairly evenly distributed. Very lush, high, reaching even 6 m, junipers of various forms grow between them, forming a full brushwood. Part of the boulder area is fenced, because the moufflons band currently is grazing in it for nature management purposes. People in wheelchairs are suggested to contact the trail manager in advance of the visit to access the trail because of the fence.
