At the end of 2019, the Big Tree Trail in the largest park in Latvia was opened in the urban environment of Preili Park, which leads along 16 big trees for about 2.5 km.

There is an information stand next to each big tree trail with information about the specific big tree and a reference to the QR code, which can be scanned with your android system smart device to open the big tree trail mobile application. When you open it for the first time, you are prompted to install an application on your smart device, where you can select one of the languages offered. As well as the Preiļi big tree trail application, everyone can find it in the Google Play Store environment. Each wooden billboard has the number of the specific tree of the trail.

The information provided can be read in Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian, Polish, English and German.
