Mežtaka ved cauri mežainām piejūras kāpām un aizlīkumo gar Mazo Baltezeru, kas ir barības vielām bagāts, tādēļ aizaugošs ezers. Vietām vērojami īpaši aizsargājamie veci vai dabiski boreālie – sausi skujkoku – meži.

The Mežtaka runs through forested seaside dunes and meanders along the Mazo Baltezer, a nutrient-rich and therefore overgrown lake. In places, there are specially protected old or natural boreal - dry coniferous - forests.
