Kallaste cliff is about 400 m and 10 m high lime stone disclosure. An old pine forest grows on the cliff and there’s a forest trail under the trees. At the southern part of the cliff you can see fossilized plants. Folk tales tell that during the ancient freedom battle of Estonia Kallaste cliff was the hiding place of the Devil where he made swords for the fighters.
