Pāvilostas pludmales taka

Out&back type trail. Pāvilosta beach trail allows to enjoy a calm and peaceful walk along the sandy beach, the wooden boarwalk in the central resting zone on the coast as well as the widest gray dune in Latvia. The trail introduces to the unique coastal landscape and the gray dune specific plants. The trail finishes with a memorial site to Lithuanian soldiers, who had been shot by the German troops while helping the Latvian refugees to escape ro Sweden during the World War 2. A specious parking lot, watching tower and few resting areas are available. Trail marked with "white-yellow-white" stripes.
