The trail is located on an island in the Cirisa lake. You can rent a boat from one of the houses nearby, if you ask around. If you have your own boat, the best place to start is behind the Aglona bandstand, where you will find a pleasant rest place and beach. The trail itself is very diverse and worth visiting. There are picnic places on the island.
