Abula dabas taka

The Abula Nature Trail is about 12 km long, which leads through the forests, plains and also manor buildings on the left bank of the Abula. From Brenguli along the Abula River itself, you can go to the mouth of the Gauja, thus getting to know how different the banks of this river are. On the way back, the route leads through two ancient local manors - Jaunbrenguļi and Vecbrenguļi. During their heyday, both manors have gathered many different people here, such as ornithologist Nikolai von Tranze, walker Jānis Daliņš, diplomatic envoy Edgars Krieviņš and many others. In nature, the trail is marked with a blue-white marking.

We started in the center of Brenguli, because there is both a parking place and signs.
